If you have what is termed a bareboat charter, you will see non-taxable fees broken out into a separate line-item on your confirmation. It will further be noted that approximately 3 days in advance of the charter, you will receive an invoice for the fees from CFN Boat Services via SQUARE. Please pay this promptly once you receive it. This is not in addition to the cost that was quoted to you, it has already been included in the total cost, but USCG regulations stipulate that the payment for these fees may NOT flow through the charter company.
