UNUSED VOUCHER OPTIONS (may not be combined with any other offer, and may be withdrawn at any time.):
Through 12/31/2013 you may choose to convert your ticket to a 2014 ticket for $45, which would not be due until you make a reservation next year for a 2014 sail – the ticket will then expire 8/31/14 and the normal terms will apply. To choose this option, send us your voucher number (vouchers begin with C13) and let us know that you wish to do so via our Contact Page. We will then send you a confirmation email within 72 hours, and set up your ticket so that when you login with it next spring you will be able to make a reservation and simply pay the conversion fee at the time of booking. May not be used in conjuction with any specials.2) Apply one voucher towards a private sail
You can apply the paid value of a single voucher (vouchers may not be combined) towards a standard private sail. May not be used in conjuction with any specials.***Any change fees due must be satisfied prior to using any of the above options.
*Note to the above expiration extensions
We strongly suggest scheduling a sail far in advance of your expiration date. If your sail is cancelled by your captain due to conditions and your voucher expires in less than 14 days, the expiration date will be extended to allow you to sail in the next 14 days after the cancelled sail date. In no case will vouchers be extended to a date greater than 14 days past the date of the cancelled sail.
Example: if you schedule a sail for Jun 4, and your voucher expires Jun 15, your voucher expiration will be extended to Jun 18 and you will need to sail by Jun 18. If you do not sail by the extended date, your voucher will be expired. All sails are based on availability. Upgrade sails are offered as available, and as an additional option, and no guarantee of upgrade availability is made.

If you have not used your voucher, and no change fees are due, the full price paid for a voucher (vouchers cannot be combined) can be applied towards a semi-private ticket for up to 5 years (currently the cost is $259) according to the terms. However, we would like to offer you the above options that are better than the agreed upon terms of purchase.
If you paid taxes and/or upgrade fees on a sail which was cancelled by Chicago Sailboat Charters, and you do not use your ticket before expiration, the taxes and upgrades paid will remain applied on your voucher. Should you choose not to use any of the above options, please contact us for a refund of those fees. Refunds of tax and upgrade fees requested less than 55 days after paid, will be returned to your credit card or to your paypal account if you paid with that method. Refunds requested 55 days or later after being paid can only be paid to you in the form of a paypal payment or Chase QuickPay since the bank will not allow us to reverse credit card charges after 55 days. Should you not have a paypal account or use Chase QuickPay, you may easily set that up in a couple minutes. There is a $10 charge if you require a check to cover processing and additional paperwork.
If you have any change fees due, at the end of the season and taxes or upgrade fees paid will be used toward satisfying them. Before utilizing any options above, all change fees must be satisfied.
